The Hip-Hop changing T-Pain, as well as Robert Randolph, the pedal steel guitar phenomenon, have been added to an already star-studded lineup for the 2011 Rock the Rapids music and entertainment festival in downtown Grand Rapids scheduled to run the week of August 8th – 13th. T-Pain will be opening up and performing with Ludacris on August 13th. Robert Randolph and the Family Band are scheduled to open for legendary Willie Nelson on August 10th. "Adding these two artists to the already announced acts is truly making Rock the Rapids the best festival lineup in the state for the summer of 2011," said event founder Denny Baxter. This is shaping up to be an incredible week of music for an extremely inexpensive ticket price."
